How is a car checked for wiretapping?

Checking a car for wiretapping is significantly different from checking premises for bugs. To identify wiretapping trackers in a car, first of all, a visual and instrumental examination of the underbody and interior of the car is performed.

When inspecting the bottom, the presence of bugs that are installed on a magnetic mount is excluded; during the inspection, special inspection equipment is used – a videoscope and a nonlinear locator.

When checking the car interior, the decorative panels are partially disassembled and dismantled along with the trim elements, this is done to check all possible locations for wiretapping. During the inspection, our specialists use equipment that does not damage the decorative elements of the car. The examination is carried out using a video endoscope and special mirrors.

Next, there is an inspection of the luggage compartment and engine compartment. During the check, the dismantling of the enclosing panels and decorative elements is also carried out.

After inspection, all decorative elements are installed back.

If a tracking device is found in the car, at the request of the client, it is deactivated.
